The RFD199A is an easy to use electromagnetic energy harvesting system for use with any antenna to convert wireless energy to a regulated DC output voltage. This design includes a built-in RF-DC converter, 5100uF capacitor and a voltage regulation/management circuit that will discharge the capacitor when it has been charged to 5.3V. The discharge will stop when the capacitor has reached 4.2V. This unique module can be arrayed with other RFD199A’s using multiple antennas and combined DC output to harvest the most possible wireless power in the most efficient manner. The design includes easy to use banana plug screw terminal connectors in a compact package.
